This was precisely the situation our company found itself in when we were faced with the decision of whether to exhibit at Solar and Storage Live, one of the biggest shows in the renewable energy industry. Initially, we hesitated, feeling that it might be too early in our business cycle to participate in an event of such magnitude. However, as we thought about the potential benefits and considered the broader context of the energy transition, we realized that we couldn't afford to pass up this critical monment in history.

 

Stepping out of Our Comfort Zone

As we discussed our options, it became clear that while we might not be entirely ready, it was crucial to take this leap of faith and be present at Solar and Storage Live. After all, some of the most successful companies today started with bold moves that felt risky at the time. This event was an opportunity to showcase our commitment to innovation, demonstrate our vision for a sustainable energy future, and put our brand on the map.

 

Taking a Step Back

Before we made our decision, we took a step back and considered the bigger picture of the energy landscape. We realized that we're not the only ones who are grappling with the challenges and opportunities presented by the global shift towards cleaner, more sustainable energy sources. The urgency of addressing climate change and the demand for innovative solutions have never been more pressing. The world is transitioning to a cleaner energy future, and it's happening rapidly.

We thought about the potential connections we could make, the partnerships we could form, and the invaluable feedback we could receive. Being present at an industry event like Solar and Storage Live is about more than just showcasing products and services. We are going to be there so please swing by stand J0A, in front of the everything installer theatre. We are so lucky to have brands and products that we are demonstrating, such as the Ecoflow new DC coupled battery product which is a world exclusive (we have been trading 7 months, this is bonkers!), Victron Energy off grid/on grid plug and play boards we will also be offering installers training on this whilst we're there, Q Cells and their Q HOME ESS as well as their PV Modules, and lastly GIVEnergy and their All in One and their 9.5kw battery and 3.68kw inverter, this is a Galactico line up for a 7 year old business let along 7 month old business and we have lady luck to credit with that! 

 

So whilst we felt we weren't fully prepared for the scale of Solar and Storage Live we realised that we couldn't not be there; our mission is too strong and our partnerships too deep. The urgency of transitioning to a more sustainable and secure energy future, combined with the benefits of the new partnerships these events invite, outweighed our reservations. 

By seizing this opportunity, we are not just making a statement about our commitment to change but actively contributing to the ongoing energy revolution. Sometimes, taking a leap of faith, even when you feel unprepared, can be the catalyst for incredible growth and success. We're excited to be part of Solar and Storage Live and look forward to what the future holds for our company and the renewable energy industry as a whole.
